Principal's Message

Welcome Parents and Students to Vineland Lakes High School!

I am honored to introduce myself as your new Principal and thrilled to begin this journey with each of you. I look forward to building strong partnerships that support student achievement and growth.

With over 20 years in education in Osceola and Orange County, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles—including paraprofessional, English teacher, Dean, AVID Coordinator, College & Career Counselor, Assistant Principal in Orange County Public Schools, and Principal at Sunshine High School. These experiences have shaped my belief that every student is unique, and that understanding how they learn individually is key to helping them reach their full academic potential.

At Vineland Lakes—fondly known as THE HIVE—I am committed to creating a learning environment where academic excellence is a priority, and where students feel emotionally and mentally safe. My goal is to ensure that every student graduates not only with a high school diploma but with meaningful experiences through our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, and the preparation needed for college or career success.

My diverse background allows me to view students through multiple lenses, and I believe it takes just that—many perspectives and a team approach—to support them effectively. At Vineland Lakes, we are a community, and communication plays a vital role in our school culture. I encourage you to stay connected and reach out to teachers, support staff, or directly to me with any questions or concerns.
Together, let’s make this a fantastic year of growth, discovery, and achievement.

Warm Regards,

Dr. Tiana Coleman, Principal
